I looked into her eyes and told her, “baby you’re the one”
as she looked into the sky and wondered why I lie so much.
I don’t know why.
I don’t know why I lied so much.
But she took flight.
She left to find an honest one
who won’t cause fights.
And now she’s doing quite fine.
A couple kids, knee high.
It makes me feel alright
to see her shine so bright.
To see her find her light.
To see her mine her plight
and get gold from the ashes of the past. My life
will never be the same since we crashed those bikes.
There ain’t nothing we could do but respect Father Time.
Respect Father Time.

Maxo Kream recently released a visual for “Meet Again” which details stories about his past along with how’d he write letters to his homies that are locked up. This is one of the realest track I’ve heard in awhile. What do you think? DOPE or NAH?
It seems like Tech N9ne has gone through some drama in the past about being placed higher on the bill than other acts and they’ve caused scenes about it. Most notably, Tech names Rakim as one of these salty artists and airs out about being a better performer than all of them.
SonReal released a track entitled “1000 Highways” a couple weeks ago which strays from the onslaught of bars I’ve grown accustomed to since being put on to him. Instead, he put out a melodic, catchy cut about finding love which features him singing over guitar.
Russ dropped a video for a track entitled “Ain’t Goin Back” in which the rapper denounces the idea of going back to the days before his career took off and details the hustle and determination he’ll display to ensure continued success. What do you think … DOPE or NAH?
